Living at Lauderdale Bay is rewarding in a variety of ways. One of those is the wildlife we get to observe right from our balconies. We have seen ducks, geese, swans, herons, egrets, osprey and even an occasional beaver or two. However, this week was a first for many of us. A manatee visited to graze (or mate, we aren't sure) on our beach.

Lauderdale Bay Board of Directors Mission Statement
The ultimate mission of this board is to maintain/ensure that each (60 units) property owners’ continued property value, will hopefully increase it more than the future real estate market surrounding us, and allow enjoyment of the complex.
We will accomplish this by even-handed and equitable, application of our Managing Documents (MD’s), Rules & Regulations (R&R’S), the SOUTH CAROLINA HORIZONTAL PROPERTY ACT (SCHPA) as well as any applicable South Carolina Laws and/or Statutes (SCL&S).
We will work thru this by being fiscally responsible and viewing every item that comes before the Board through the lens of the MD’s, R&R’s, SCHPA, and SCL&S. All items brought before the Board shall be prioritized, those that require expenditures by categories of:
Additionally, those items of concern or of issue to any member, financial expenditure(s) notwithstanding, will also be viewed equitably through the lens of the MD’s, R&R’s, SCHPA and SCL&S. All current board members agree and see no additions or subtractions to this Mission Statement and this document is how we propose we will guide/manage Lauderdale Bay.
